Holiday Dinner Theatre: "Greetings," the comedy
alternative to "A Christmas Carol" at Stafford's
Perry Hotel, Petoskey. Reserve your spot at 231-

"Race to Nowhere": Documentary on how education
in America is turning unprepared students
into the workforce and college due to current policies
and practices that focus solely on test scores
and competition rather than meaningful teaching
and learning. Showing at the State Theatre, TC, at
4:45pm & 7:15pm. Hosted by TCAPS and TBAISD.
Tix, $15 at the door; $10 in advance.

Manistee Men's Night: Guys are invited to come
downtown for gift wrapping, deals and some holiday
cheer, 5-8pm.

Music and Art Night: Draw, sketch or paint as
Radel Rosin and The Hung Welschmen perform
at Studio 7 Arts, 7-9pm. Light snacks available.

Interlochen Faculty Recital: Nancy Stagnitta

refreshments and entertainment, 5-9pm.

"Hansel and Gretel": Presented by the Traverse
City Central High School Philharmonic Orchestra
and the Ballet, Etc. Dance Company in the high
school auditorium, 7pm. 933-3573 for tickets.

Women's Holiday After Hours: Held at the
AmericInn, Charlevoix, 5-7pm. Bring an unwrapped
Christmas gift. Includes jewelry swap.

Concert and Community Dinner: Free dinner
from local after school cooking clubs and
concert with Seth Bernard, May Erlewine and
Luke Winslow-King at Mills Community House,
Benzonia, starting at 6pm. Concert, $5.

Story with Santa: 6-7pm at Horizon Books, TC.
"If You Just Believe": Dinner and theater at

"Seussical, Jr.": the Cat in the Hat narrates a
muscial journey into the world of Dr. Seuss at
