Wine Tasting, Art, Film & Music

Wine Tasting: Sample wine from around the
world at Palette Bistro, Petoskey, Thursdays, 6-
7:30pm. Cost, $20.

Weekly West African Drum Class: Learn to
play djembes, djun djuns, bells and shakers at
Traverse Community Music, TC, every Sunday,
from 4-5pm. Cost, $15 per session. rhythmicadventures.

Country Jamboree: All musicians welcome, held
the first Saturday of every month, 6-9:30pm, at
Manton High School's Ranger Room. Round and
square dancing. Donation entry. Light lunch with
50/50 drawing. 824-6329.

Film & Discussion Series: Held Tuesdays, at
7pm; and Thursdays at 2pm, at Real People
Media's Community Media Center, Charlevoix.
Free of charge. Donations welcome.

Go Where You Are: Exhibit featuring textile art -
by 1963 alum Jim Hay at Northwestern Michigan
College's Dennos Museum.

Pub Theology: Beer, conversation and God at
Right Brain Brewery, TC, every Thursday, 8pm. All
religions/perspectives are welcome.
Indoor Farmers Market: Held at the Betsie Bay
Inn, Frankfort, every Saturday, from 9am-1pm,
now through April.

Singer/Songwriter Showcase: Local musicians
perform every Saturday, 7-9pm, at the Bay View
